The thought was set just under two years ago by my daughter to grow my hair (a big feat in itself after short hair for nearly 15 years;My hair is down the middle of my back now). After a few months she then said I would like you to do the shave. Such a old minded spirit on a young soul of a body. She said it was to give hope to others that may not have a choice - give them some hope and support of what they go through Mum. After losing others through one form of cancer or another it is a small gesture I can give back.
