The time has come. Take 3 deep breaths before you get to that start line. Think of it as just another long run (with a lot more runners to run with). Thoughts may cross your mind that you may not be ready for this--and when that happens, it will be the perfect time to turn off that mindset and focus on the here and now! You are ready. Keep the positive thoughts going throughout the run- no matter how cheesy they may sound- Dont quit! Dont quit! Focus on strong push-off the ground, keep hips forward, shoulders relaxed and have fun. When the legs get tired- run with your heart! See at the Finish line :) -Coach K
