The time has come to build a moral and ethical attack on US labor unions. We are trained to live in a cultural context wherein the workplace, and the jobs people do, are presented as if they are floating in outer space, disconnected from the human moral domain. -- Perceiving this outrage is not an easy task. Its an outrage. Shocking, yet we are trained from birth to accept the current cultural condition that places the entire domain of work outside of our control, outside of democratic control, and outside of our moral constraints. --- Corporations are killing people in too many ways to list here, killing people for profits, and yet we are expected to remain silent, and to act as if we are children, told what to do, placing the moral implications of our work into the hands of the ruling elites. This must be halted. It is not okay to be a prison guard. Its not okay to get a paycheck manufacturing Cruise Missiles. Its not okay being an oil pipeline welder. You cant do that. We wont allow you to do these kinds of work.
