The time is drawing closer yet none of the gubernatorial aspirants in Cross River state seem to be sure of victory in the primary election slated for Nov. 29. Even the glamorous public as well as political sycophants of the various interest, is not left out in the confusion. On like other previous elections, before now the coast would have been clear indicating the direction to which victory is likely assured. But today, as it appears, even the king makers themselves in the various caucuses are in for a very unsure decision on whom to make. This is because some are involve in double standard games, hence the inability to hit the nail on the head. Be it as it may, it is still our hope that the leadership of our dear state as well as the PDP will give us a governor that will cut across the interests of both the Old and Young, the Rich and Poor, the Oppressed and Free, the Elites and illiterates, the privileged and the less privileged, the strong and the weak etc. It is my hope, it is our hope and its the hope of this generation. God help us.
