The title and conceptual framework of 3rd International İzmir Art Biennale is specified by fifteen academicians. Title – Conceptual Framework Sınır/sız/lık (TR) Infinite/ness (EN) Artists are those who have the infiniteness of the power of finding voice in thinking for being a human. Infiniteness is in their hearts and creations. Since they strive to make free souls’ commodiousness, they are very treasure. They present their works just as an example, with a quality, without noise and fighting. Art works are the answers to all going-on. This is a quite cream, take a silent breath, crying and smiling without loud and make invisible to visible. This is hugging, clamping together, and love. A breathe, giving life and make alive, trying to discover the importance of art an artist. Breathe of the power of verity, law and knowing how to live like a human. Dear artist friends, The title and conceptual framework of 3rd International İzmir Art Biennale is infinite/ness. I kindly request you to create your art work in the theme of this title. For your catalogue work to be formed by you in this title, the catalogue deadline is held out to January 15th, 2015. It is important to inform us about your art work sizes and numbers for reservation of suitable exhibition hole for you. ALLOWABLE SIZES ARE: FOR ONE ART WORK : LENGTH 2.5 METER (MAX) / HEGHT 2.0 METER (MAX) FOR SMALL ART WORKS : SHORT SIDE OF THE WORK 80 CM (MIN) İbrahim Bozkuş – “Infinite/ness” Human can meet different actions during different life processes. Limitless action types can be formed during these stops and borders. This occurs as a result of the education, culture and social interactions of the person. Since the limitless of the universe did not overlapped the life borders or limits, the concept of infinite/ness forms missing of freedom after actions and reactions. Fahri Sever – “Infinite/ness” Mete Sezgin – “Infinite/ness” Everything Every fact Every definition Take place in a border. This contains the whole body of it. The important thing is how and for which aim these borders were drawn and who draw them. Nothing completed its process or will be complete its process is not infinite/ness. Infinite/ness does not define an open end, but it defines the freedom of violation of the border that works out of countenance for us by an outer force. Turan Enginoğlu – “Infinite/ness” Every living being will be evanescence. This evanescence is a finish. Only humans refuse this finish and disappearing feelings. This refuse makes him more single and special. He do not want to finish and evanesce. This desire makes life distinct constant. Will to live never ends. The only exception is the evanescence of joy of living. Border is death; infinite/ness is the desire of continuing to live. Faden Suzan Kudsioğlu – “Infinite/ness” Having no limits, shouting the reality, to reflect everything by art starkly, this is real! Oğuz Demir – “Infinite/ness” ‘Bravo! To who can enforce.’ Lale Temelkuran – “Infinite/ness” Fears of human are their borders. Fearlessness is not infiniteness. We cannot explain the importance of love and life and a decent sort of person. To find this door is for whom knows being a human… Borders cause to forget being human, and also taking a breathe… Candaş Şişman – “Infinite/ness” Today, the probabilities caused from different disciplinary crossbreeds dispel the borders between art, technology, social life and science. Now, we can use technological products as a part of our body, we can save knowledge into DNT just like a hard disk or we can produce our designs on digital place by printing with 3D printers. All these developments gathering different situations together like real and virtual, organic and synthetic. Nowadays everything interlocked and connected to each other so much and it is nearly impossible to say this is this and that is that. In real, infinite/ness is a type of thinking in company with so many probabilities.
