Ron Vlaar (Aston Villa) The Aston Villa captain has frequently been linked with a move to Arsenal in the last few weeks. He’d be a top quality and experienced defender for Arsene Wenger to bring in though there will definitely be competition from Manchester United. Paulo Dybala (Palermo) Reports suggest that Arsenal are already in advanced talks to sign £31 million rated Paulo Dybala from Palermo. He’s been described as the ‘next Sergio Aguero’ in the press with Wenger reportedly looking at ways to bolster his attack. James McCarthy (Everton) The Mirror reported that Arsenal were considering a move for £13 million rated James McCarthy. The midfielder has been fairly consistent for Roberto Martinez’ side though whether Arsene Wenger needs another central midfielder is extremely doubtful.
