The town of Blyth was once a thriving Market Town on the north - TopicsExpress

The town of Blyth was once a thriving Market Town on the north east coast of England, Blyth steadily declined over recent years due to out of town shopping centres being built within the outskirts of the town. Blyth received a major blow in 2008 when the local Blyth Valley Borough Council carried out a so-called regeneration to the town centre, practically closing the main roads for some 12 months, this had a devastating effect on the shops and the market trade from which Blyth has not recovered! This page is set up to bring to the attention of all...the lovely town Blyth used to be and also to help and encourage people to lobby their councillors to return Blyth to the thriving town centre it used to be! Please post your comments on this page...we are fighting an uphill battle which could be won!
