The two 15 year old cats are now safe. Our volunteers have managed to come together and offer them a foster space from Monday, as well as offer to collect them from the vets (thank you Stephanie for offer to travel a 3 hour round journey to do so) and we have confirmed this with the vet practice, who are more then happy to hold onto them until then. If you would like to find out more about becoming a fosterer for Goldies, and becoming part of our great little volunteers team (who are superstars!) then please send us a PM with your email address so I can send you some information. Please note that we will not divulge information to other parties, who we have not worked with previously let alone who have never even ever spoken to before, for the safety of the cats. The cats safety comes first. Further, please note that at no time did we say that the vet practice was going to destroy them. If you read the post it says they were taken into a vet practice to be PTS by the owner. We never said the vet was going to have them PTS, if anything it is the totally opposite and the vet practice has been trying desperately to find them a rescue placement.
