The two opening recitals on the 1877 Hill & Son organ at the Barossa Regional Gallery Tanunda South Australia were an extraordinary success with a total attendance of close to 700. On the Saturday evening Dominic Perissinotto played solo items by Bach, Koehne, Handel, Batiste, Ives and Vierne together with a brass ensemble and soprano solos. There was also a specially commissioned organ work by Natalie Williams - Imprimatur : Toccata for Organ. On the Sunday afternoon a solo recital including works by Elgar, Saint-Saens, Lefebure Wely, Handel, Bovet, Mozart and concluding with the Bossi Etude Symphonique. The organ sounded absolutely stunning and has to be one of the finest examples of a Hill & Son organ anywhere with extraordinary brilliance, character and clarity.
