The ultimate question.. How you justify life....Life is precious ha.. in relation to what? I’m not sure that I asked to be here. I don’t know where I came from prior to being here. I don’t know where I’m headed. What I do know is that all joy I experience in this existence is temporary and when I’m completely idle, my mind reminds me that something is wrong. In the deepest voids, my essence knows of a tormenting inadequacy somewhere within the design. This is the same knowledge we all possess and strive to confront essentially but never do. We, instead, convince ourselves to supplement the irritance with false idols, be they religious or materialistic. Smiles fade, the knowledge does not. And the knowledge is of the utmost importance. Indifference topples joy at the zenith. Once the ego is conquered, one does not desire to have happiness. For what is happiness but a temporary reprieve from the aforementioned irritance?
