Here is a tourist volcano that was supposed to be safe, and it erupted with little warming and claimed a few lives at Mount Ontake, Japan by pumice, CO2(g), hot gases, H2 SO4(g), S8, bombs, rocks, debris, and scolding steam and lahars. Many perished by being crushed by rocks and bombs, scolded by hot gases and steam, and suffocation by CO2(g) or burned by H2SO4 fumes. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2773924/Rescue-workers-searching-survivors-Japanese-volcano-flee-cover-fresh-eruptions-rain-ash-days-36-people-killed.html
