The valuations of properties in Greater St Francis Bay will take place later this year and a meeting is to be held on 16th July at 7pm in the St Francis Bay Community Hall. Elke Roos from DDP Valuers, who are the contracted company appointed by our Council, will introduce herself and make a presentation. The meeting is open to all residents and property owners. The Residents Association recently approached all Estate Agents with a view to them offering a free service of valuations for concerned residents. At the time of going to press four of the Estate Agents have committed to offer their services. Once we have feedback from all estate agents a list will be available, through the Resident Association offices. It is our opinion that, if any dispute should arise between a property owner and Council with regard to unrealistic valuations, this independent valuation would be of great assistance.
