The value of Gods presence in the fulfillment our assignment How - TopicsExpress

The value of Gods presence in the fulfillment our assignment How valuable is Gods presence God? We understand from John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without Me. As we look forward to launching the church, our prayer is that God will be with us. Why? Well, looking at the example of great men of the Bible who were called and given an assignment by God, one thing that is common to all of them is the promise of Gods presence with them. Moses was given the difficult task of bringing the children of Israel from bondage in Egypt. Though he felt incapable to take on this task, but the promise of Gods presence helped him. Moses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, or that I should bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” He replied, “Surely I will be with you... (Exodus 3:11-12 (NET1) The same promise was made to Joshua (Jos.1:5) whos assignment was to bring them into the land of promise. Gideon felt inadequate also until God promise him His presence. He said to Him, “Please, Lord, how can I deliver Israel? Look, my family is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the youngest in my father’s house. But I will be with you,” (Judges 6:15-16 (HCSB). Jeremiah felt like a child and was afraid but God promise him His presence. Do not be afraid of anyone, for I will be with you to deliver you. (Jeremiah 1:8 (HCSB). When Jesus give the disciples the Great Commission, He said to them, And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20 (HCSB). Jesus, our ultimate example, we are told carry out His assignment ...Because God was with Him. (Act 10:38). All these examples showed that the most important person we need in the execution and fulfillment of our divine assignment is God. Everything else is secondary. Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, because all things are possible with God.” (Mark 10:27 (HCSB) With God, with God, and only with God that everything is possible. As you pray for us, please pray that God will be with us. We will continue this teaching next time and examine how can we have God with us always. What are the biblical principles we must practice to enjoy his continuous presence. Pastor Jalarue.
