So, it’s probably quite important that we learn everything we can about the up and coming new band, so we’ve put together 100 facts about them! He was only 12 years old when he started to learn guitar. Tristan Evans Tristan’s full name is Tristan Oliver Vance Evans. 62. He was born on 15th August 1994. 63. He was brought up in Devon. 64. His favourite movie is the 2009 blockbuster Avatar. 72. He says that his favourite ice cream is Twister. 73. As well as the drums, he can also play guitar and piano. 74. He once revealed his favourite song was “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing” by Aerosmith. The band 81. In 2011, James was a solo act managed by Prestige Management, but decided he wanted to form a band. 82. He found the first new band member Brad through YouTube. 83. In 2011, James and Brad spent some time writing songs together. 84. The next band member Tristan was found on Facebook and added to the line-up in 2012. 85. Final member Connor, who was met through a mutual friend, joined the band in 2012. 86. The full group then started uploading covers of tracks to YouTube. 87. Their first original song “Wild Heart” was uploaded to YouTube in July 2013. 88. Debut single “Can We Dance” came out in September 2013. 89. It went to number two in the UK Singles Chart, and has since been certified Platinum. 90. “Wild Heart” was then released as a single, following its YouTube success. 91. “Wild Heart” came out in January 2014 and reached number three in the UK Charts. 92. An alternative version of “Wild Heart” was also released, featuring Pixie Lott. 93. Their third single “Last Night” will be released in April 2014. 94. Their debut album is also set for release sometime in 2014. 95. The band’s rise to fame started when they supported McFly on tour in 2013. 96. They also opened two Selena Gomez shows in September 2013. 97. In 2014, they opened Taylor Swift’s London O2 Arena shows. 98. They’re also set to support The Wanted on their 2014 “Word of Mouth” tour. 99. They’ve announced a debut headline tour for late 2014! 100. We can expect even bigger things from The Vamps in future!
