The war crimes committed by Israelis in Gaza are disgusting and horrifying, and Israel continues to exploit powerful world media coverage to cover-up their crimes. But for me, it is telling that for some people out there, there are not enough horrifying or disturbing images from Gaza that they would resort to using horrifying images of massacres committed by the Bashar al-Assad regime. For admins of Facebook pages, or individuals who genuinely want to check images, here is a tip: 1) Save the image on your desktop, 2) Go to Google Images, 3) Upload the image by clicking on the camera icon. Once it’s uploaded, you will be able to find all the online sites that used the same image. You can then see if it is genuine, or if it is a few years old and taken from a different context. Keep it real and keep it honest, or we would not be doing any better than the enemy.
