The way someone injures 20 people with a knife (or a rubber hose) is that people are frozen with fear. They are defenseless as cannot conceive evil in reality. Its an abstract concept they see on TV and other media. Preparedness is the answer. Guns are okay. But the gun in the hand of a person who thinks owning a gun makes them capable of taking a life is useless. The brain is the deadliest weapon. For me im always relaxed and calm, based on my innate readiness. Teach the children to evade, defend,reason and understand that most people are good but some people are bad and we must never give away our humanity to the beasts. Be ready for peace.
