The way the Senators questioned Abba Moro over the fatal Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) recruitment exercise of 15th March, 2014 left so much to be desired. There was no bite in their questions; it seems they wanted him to leave the scene unscathed! They handled him with kid gloves, perhaps mindful of the fact that his benefactor is the Senate President. So, by the agreement Moro signed with the consultant, the latter was to retain the N710 million extorted from applicants, while the Ministry sourced funds elsewhere to conduct the exercise, and afterward forward the results to the consultant? The sole job of the consultant was to administer the online application process! Just mark it, Moro may still walk the corridors of power as a Minister in spite of the abominable thing he did! Nigeria we hail thee!
