The weather somewhat scuppered our plans for this weekend, we ended up having a car port party with family and friends rather than a weekend at Burntwood Wakes. Good food, wine and good company, what more can you want. In 5 days time I am going to become a grandmother, my little grandchild has been trying to kick its way out today so it may be sooner than we think. This afternoon we went to see my 94 year old Aunty Rosabella. At that age you can get away with saying what you want, she looked at Deborah Swanwick Baker and said are you fat or pregnant? Luckily she is pregnant! A very touching moment when Rosa put her hand on Debs tummy to feel her great great niece or nephew kicking. I also went to the cemetery this afternoon and took flowers to my mum and dad and nan and granddad and Daves nan and granddad, had a little chat and told them about the baby. On the way home I visited some lovely old neighbours of ours and told them about the baby, unfortunately their son was murdered a number of years ago, they were thrilled for us and are going to be honorary great grandparents. This is going to be one of the most exciting weeks of my life!
