Using a no clip cheat you can enter into the area of the exposed brain to find infamous programmer John Romero’s head on a stake. The head on a stake is the actual hit register point of the boss, meaning that the rocket explosions are hitting the head away from the sight of the player. Also if you reverse and up the pitch of the noise that the boss makes you can clearly hear “To win the game, you must kill me, John Romero.” Romero helped program Doom 2 and is well known to include easter eggs in his games.
