The wife and I spent date nite tonight watching a documentary history of the Eagles. It had me with this song, which had special meaning to me since I spent part of the Summer, Fall and Winter in Winslow, Arizona -- a 19-year olds first big adventure miles away from home. And I managed to live through it . . . a movie made of those times would be a lot like EASY RIDER, but without the tragic ending that I mostly likely narrowly missed. There are a lot of stories in that six months span of time, both good and bad, but when I look back on it now, all funny. I am sure that I am forgiven, but one must never FORGET the sins one has been forgiven -- that is rightfully what God and others might do, but not YOU . . .
