The wind will slowly continue to drop. as will temps. overnight, most of us into the single digits to near 10°, wind chills near 0°. A clipper low will pass south of us on Tue causing a cloudy day with some nuisance off/on light snow or snow showers, temps. wont rise much, 10s to near 20°, with a coating to 1 of snow. We will get a break from the strong wind though....that will change Wed. as the next arctic front moves through during the late am/early pm. It will be accompanied by some sctd but hefty snow squalls, strong wind gusts to 40 mph and dropping temps. Well fall through the 10s Wed. PM and into the single digits, then to a few degrees below zero at night. Wind chills Wed. Night/early Thur in the -10 to -20 range in the Capital Region, -30 or lower in the northern mtns. with highs on Thursday in the 10s. The bitter cold will turn to a more typical cold on Friday with highs ranging from the mid to upper 20s. Our next news is at 10pm on the CW and then at 11pm on CBS6
