The wine corner. 7 gallon water jugs from WalMarts. plastic tubing, duct tape. Crush grapes/strawberries/mango/apples/blackberries, any fruit. Strain fruit pulp and juice thru a wire fry basket, to eliminate pulp/seeds. core mangos/apples 1st. pour mash into 7 gallon container. 1 pound of sugar per gallon of fruit. If you want to cut the sugar, dont go less than 1/2 pound per gal. I use a stainless steel pot to boil about 2 qts. of water. use a 1 cup glass measuring cup to proof yeast. . add 1/4 cup of 120 degree water into measuring cup. pour in yeast and 1 teaspoon of sugar, stir and let sit for 10 min. if yeast gets a head of at least 1/2 in. its active. pour yeast from measuring cup into mash/7gal. container. pour your sugar into the stainless steel pot, and combine sugar til dissolved. then add to mash. close off the faucet, insert plastic tube into air cap and seal cap with duct tape. Let sit for 30 days, and repeat process. It takes 60 days to make wine. the plastic tubing is for the gas from the fermentation process, insert free end of plastic tubing into a gal. jug filled 3/4ths full of plain water. your house will smell like the fruit you are working with. enjoy.
