The wonderful joys of marriage...while trying to work on my final paper of my undergraduate career (of too many years to mention here), Julian Andrew Bond is kind enough to suggest that I take a shower to relax and get my mind back together - sounded like a good plan at the time. He tells me he is going to place the wash into the dryer and I tell him that I was going to hop into the shower as he suggested. Water starts getting colder and I blame it on an old water heater since he had been washing clothes earlier this morning - then theres absolutely no warm water at all....knocked on the shower wall where he is sitting on the other side and asked him if he started a new load of laundry. YEP, the kind caring husband had started a new load, by this point in time I thought I could withstand an ice cold shower (heck I looked forward to them while in Costa Rica!), but reality brought me back to KY where the weather changes three times in one day and I jumped out of the shower freezing and ran to the nearest space heater! Moral of the story - Im loving the fact that I have a GREAT husband who does the laundry - regardless if Im trying to take a relaxing shower to get my mind back together for this absolutely final paper of undergraduate work.
