The word “democracy” does not appear at all in Israel’s Declaration of Independence. That is because democracy is not a goal; democracy is a method. Moshe Feiglin HOW DO WE IN ISRAEL NEED TO UTILIZE THE METHOD TO ENSURE A SAFE AND SECURE PEACE FOR ALL ISRAELS CITIZENS? We as Jews, have a great responsibility to behave like Jews should, with the directions we get from our Holy books. I think the revenge we have in our hearts is not to go out and spill blood of people that have not done these terrible things, but to take steps like not returning their bodies to their families, making sanctions on their families. Cancelling their rights as a citizen of the state, losing all privileges of bituach leumi, health services, childrens monthly payments, unemployment benefits, the right to vote, and more. The destroying of their houses will also add to the deterrent. These perpetrators will think twice before doing such deeds if they know what they will be leaving behind for their parents or that their family will be exiled as a result. These sanctions should be advertised clearly to the #Arab population of Israel, and there should be no problems or complaints afterwards. This is the counter to what they are living and dying for. The reason for what they are doing or are being brought up and educated for, is then totally removed and we stop all this type of incidents of terror and the such, in its tracks. They will then enjoy the free choice of living like good citizens and reaping the benefits or know the consequences.
