The world at large has a negative view of competition which is hinged upon the train of thought that is expressed in that colloquial phrase we use im better than you (which is actually nothing but insecurity masquerading as power). Our society seems to run according to this cultural softwarewhich breeds comparison , low self-esteem , victimization , weakness ,envy, strife and the like. children grow up with this mentality being compared with their siblings , cousins and etc , our educational system promotes it so much that children are not even comfortable in their own skin trying to be like or outdo someone else which inturn stifles creativity, we carry it over to the work place as a result people can no longer be genuinely happy about another man success so when you see someone better than you then you feel threatened these attitude does nothing except to cause men to SELF DESTRUCT thereby endangers our existence as a species . However we can change our paradigm and concept about competition for example the latin word for competition means to CONSPIRE TOGETHER so therefore another mans success shouldnt get you INTIMIDATED but rather MOTIVATED when you are happy with my success it would motivate you to do much more only then can you be genuinely happy about another mans success lets all learn to CONSPIRE TOGETHER.
