The cinema refused to sell him a ticket because hes still underage and the event was scheduled to end after midnight - the German youth protection act does not allow minors to be out that late without supervision. Instead they offered him tickets for Jackass. So he wasnt allowed to watch an epic story by one of the most popular and renowned authors of the 20th century, but they would gladly offer him to watch a movie where idiots almost get themselves killed with stunts that should not be immitated, especially not by minors.
