The worlds first 5 course Bacon Degustation menu was served last night at Bacon Brothers HQ, complete with matched beverages and numerous activities. The menu is in Spanish and French, the languages of love, because Bacon is Love. To start bacon and cheese pastry with sesame, entre 1 was textures of kiwi fruit with salmon, served on bacon. Entre 2 was canterbury lamb with prawns, served with bacon potato mash and greens, main involved wrapping scallops in bacon, which were seared and served with a trifecta of purée. Dessert brought together maple walnut ice cream and caramelised bacon strips in a union of love, served with honest organic seeds and Canadian maple. Dinner was followed by Beerpong. Fun was had by all, thank you for attending.
