The worst part is that the 253.3 acres surrounding our deeded land in the closed area are a significant cultural site for our tribes as it historically was a summer village site where Native American people camped to dig sawikt Indian carrots and camas and other roots and to hunt game to preserve for the winter so digging it up and putting a nudist colony and cabins and a 9 hole golf course would not be consistent with preserving it as a cultural site so future generations could see what it was like to live there in aboriginal times.
