The year 2014 was key in beginning a new journey. When I launched a girls magazine on Womans Day in the month of March in a college in Punjab carrying a message on menstruation,little did I know what lay ahead. I launched the campaign in Punjab by training 2000 girls, 30 teachers and hundreds of community people in the neighboring villages. Soon after in the month of May,I led a global campaign Breaking the Silence and Celebrating the Red Droplets on social media which received mass participation and media attention. I was invited to Ugandas first menstrual hygiene conference to teach hundreds of Ugandan women the ABCs of hygiene during menstruation. Back home,thereafter I began my pad campaign ,mobilizing people from all the corners of the world to contribute sanitary pads that I could give off when I train girls/women in villages.My walk-through-the-village activity is now underway. I trained 3000 girls/women in just 2 days active outreach. From the success of my programme, the government has approached me to begin work in Uttar Pradesh. The year is soon coming to an end. This is how my 2015 is going to look like!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
