The year in local radio is ending on a sad note. 46 year-old Duco Hasert, a long-time hand both in front and behind the mike in Kenosha commercial radio, died of apparent natural causes near his Walworth County home over the weekend. Word today is that the new owner of WRJN, Racines news/talk heritage station, has fired operations manager Don Rosen. Rosen hosted a local talk show among his many duties. Its unclear whether Rosens firing means the end of the show. -0- Photos, l-r, Duco Hasert and Don Rosen, working in the studio with a student. Photo credits: WIIL; Racine Journal Times.
