The young wannabe approaches the old hand and he ask a simple question, if you dont mind my asking do I have what it takes to become as good as you are with horses and cattle? Well the old man didnt even acknowledge the youngster, he just kept fiddling with a new saddle he had just purchased at the feedstore there in town, so the youngster ask Agan, this time in a loud plain spoken voice! And right as he was about to get louder, he had noticed what the old hand was having complications with, so he calmly told the old cowboy what he was doin wrong, and sure enough it was a simple fix. So the young cowboy turned to get on his horse and the old cowboy hollers at the kid! Where Ya going were just getting started, you showed me yours now I suppose I can show you some of mine. And as they rode off I could hear the old cowboy explain to the youngster, sometimes actions speak louder than words! Ole Tom
