So if I was to hand you a $5 note but first actively salivated and added to it the tiniest drop of my saliva from my mouth (spit), before rubbing it together with my thumb and index finger to make sure that there are no other notes attached, that would be seen as filthy, disgusting, gross, and you would be perfectly within your rights to reject my note and demand another one, right? Customer (nods head vigorously in agreement): Yes, yes, thats absolutely right! Me: Ok, but if you were to generously lubricate your index finger with your saliva so that it can be used to rub and coat your note to make sure that you were handing me a single, similar to the technique that you have just demonstrated, thats perfectly acceptable right? And rather than me glaring at you repulsed as you place your saliva and note into my hand, its expected that I instead graciously accept your note with a smile and encouragement as you pay for your things? Customer nods but then hesitates, looking confused. Me (wheels turning): Hmm, I guess it all depends on the delivery, hey. Ok cool, well Im glad we got that one sorted out.
