Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life." {John 8:12 NASB}. Sisters, I remember a time when I walked in darkness. I was a slave to sin. I was broken, blinded, wretched, deceived and I did not even know it. I thought I loved God, I thought I knew Him, I wore a diamond cross and I did not even know the meaning of the cross and all that my Lord and Savior had done upon the cross for me, for you; for the entire world. I thank The Lord, for His saving grace and shining His Light in all my darkness. I was at the end of myself, I hated myself and all that I had done. I hated life. It was in my brokenness, while I was in my sin that Christ shined His Light. I cried out and the Lord heard me. He saved me from all of my troubles. {Psalm 34:6} His Redemptive Power, His loving kindness, His merciful Grace He extends to all generations.
