There are lot of activities taking place in different Districts of Assam, in connection with National Sanitation Campaign under Swachch Bharat Mission. Some of them are really nice --- But I am sorry that I coud not see any Mass Rally involving Womenfolk. I suppose, Rally of Women might even be more effective than any other options to create mass involvement. In few places, Group Meetings are organised involving the housewives from a locality. Yes, such meetings are also good option. But, it may perhaps not involve the womenfolk fully. If the Rural womenfolk come out in a Procession, shouting slogan, then it may perhaps make the whole Community vibrant to follow the safe WASH Practices in their daily life and to disseminate with a Success. Atleast the those slogan shouting women will definitely practice in their home. Also kindly update us, if such involvement of Rural Womenfolk has taken place somewhere. Thanks and Regards.
