There are many inspiring people in the world. Seldom that we come across one who will go through hardships solely for the benefits others. This selfless quality is very rare to find. In 2010, Ive stumbled onto His Eminence Tsem Rinpoches personal blog, a blog that has changed my life forever! This blog is a virtual temple with modernised version of the ancient knowledge realised by Shakyamuni Buddha that is practical and easy to understand. From this blog, I got to learn directly from His Eminence and got to know Him closely as the sharing and teachings are very direct and personal. I was particularly interested in His Eminences life story and how He has become the person He is today. His Eminence has many unpleasant experiences in His childhood due to various reasons, one of which is his passion and love for the dharma. Since young, His Eminence is already drawn towards dharma and Buddhism. His biography The Promise gave a brief details of what it was like for Him to grow up in Taiwan and US as well as all other important events in India and Malaysia.
