There are many pests to consider when planning your ultimate vegetable patch. For many, weeds come to mind. On our heavenly haven on the hill, there is no such thing as weeds. Nature knows what nature needs and our Forget Me Not forest is providing a festival pollen carnival for our bee population. Poor little bees have just taken flight again after a long lean winter, I will be doing all I can to feed them in the hopes that theyll stick around for the long haul to help me pollinate my patch. The little native Hover guys are out and about too, another fantastic selfless pollinator. It is so much easier to work with Mother Nature than against her, so before you start breaking your back hauling out weeds consider what purpose theyre serving. Oh, and please dont poison, Roundup has devastating effects on soil microbes and is a false economy. Another beautiful day to be a gardener :-) Football? What football?
