There are only a few things that bring grown men to tears, and I guess a new one for me would be how cruel the human race can be sometimes. It’s sad to see how people try to ruin what others have worked so hard to build. My family and I put a lot of blood sweat and tears into bringing this place to life. We didn’t come from an opulent family, so of course we don’t have money to burn. Before anyone out there throws salt on our wounds, please consider the fact that I have fought in Afghanistan and Iraq on three separate tours to defend America against an enemy that doesn’t even know why they hate us. Why should I have to continue to fight once my boots come out of the sand and are placed back on the grounds that we all call home? I am an American Soldier. My wife and I have served our country for 16 years and hope to call this beautiful city called Sanford our retired home away from home. If you don’t like our food or staff, we would rather for you not to come back, or just tell us how to make your experience more pleasant. Give us a chance to claim our piece of the American Pie. I think we deserve it.
