There are so many of us under the proverbial gun. With little to no respite, no relief from what ails them... ...And the study says that 3,728 people, or 10.8 for every 100,000 in the population, killed themselves in 2011... I see this and think,Who were these people? What heartbroke them? What emotionally bankrupted them so? And I think of how we have failed them. As a human family. As a community... And then I think of non-violent communicators... The teachers I had back in the earlier part of this decade... And I visualize them coming up and the world learning from them and us learning how to really communicate and support one another when we are hurting... And I know we can do better
