There are times in life when you stand at a precipice of a decision. When you know there will forever be a Before and an After... My Camden had to make a tough choice today. Its gonna get out sooner or later, so I am addressing it now, in hopes of sparing him, and us gossip. He has decided to switch schools. He lasted as long as he could, quite frankly to his detriment. He fought, prayed, cried, tried, pushed, and gave it a 110% effort. There were too many memories haunting him there at CPBCA. Hes not leaving cuz the classes are too hard, or cuz he cant cut it, or for any reason other than it reminds him too much of his cousin. A cousin who he was very close with... Camden is a fighter, always has been, always will be. But for this once he is fighting for HIMSELF, and we are proud of him ! The goal is for him to be at a place with less pressure, and little to no homework, so that he can focus on doing what he needs to do, and that is HEAL. This is temporary. The plan is that he returns to CP in January at the soonest, or for his Senior year at the latest. We found out today that he could literally graduate in June at FIFTEEN, cuz he has that many credits and good grades. (Hes not doing that, and thats not my point.) I say this not to play him up, but because I know how the rumor mill works. I want it clear that he left for no other reason than to get himself in a better, healthier place.
