There are two many unanswered questions, too many incentives for fraud, our personal liberty is at stake, and the argument for it is all on one side of the political spectrum. But facts are inconvenient for those who only appeal to emotion. - Climate has always changed, and it always will. There hasnt been any global warming since 1997. There is no scientific consensus that global warming is occurring and caused by man and besides, scientific questions are not decided by consensus. The loss of Arctic ice has been a big fear mongering talking point for people who believe global warming is occurring. Arctic ice is up 50% since 2012 and antarctic sea ice has expanded to record high levels. Former NASA scientist Dr. Roy Spencer says that climate models used by government agencies to create policies “have failed miserably.” Al Gore predicted all the Arctic ice would be gone by 2013. A good measure of a mans character is by admitting when he is wrong... why hasnt Gore? (His mansion and jets have to be paid for) The UNs IPCC is a political, not scientific, body. Climate change is a non-linear (chaotic) process, some parts of which are only dimly or not at all understood. The biggest untruth about human global warming is the assertion that nearly all scientists agree that it is occurring, and at a dangerous rate. Just keep in mind that there is always a political agenda of greed and power behind every argument that appeals to emotions. Personal liberty should always be the affirmative argument of any legislation and math is the only objective measure of political outcomes. What is the next big headline (fear)? ISIS? eboli? Poverty? Energy independence? Bad Education? Why are climate change extremist not marching in China and India who have the worse record and the most to lose and did not attend this weeks conference on Climate Change.
