There are two scenarios for showing with a toddler around. 1-The toddler follows you into the bathroom, runs around yelling, opens the shower door (repeatedly) to say hi and make sure youre still in there while letting out the maximum amount of heat and water possible, covers his face in mascara, and brings the sponge and cleaning supplies to the shower door and says thank you while you try to explain that you arent cleaning right now. All while this is happening, you wonder why he cant just go play with toys in the other room. This is the most common scenario. 2-Youre in the shower and the toddler is nowhere to be seen. The house is quiet. You yell his name repeatedly from the shower door. No response. The evil thoughts creep in-what if he slipped and fell and hes unconscious and choking on his own blood?! So you get out of the shower and run into the living room where hes calmly sitting and watching tv. He looks up, says shower and then follows you back into the bathroom to resume scenario number 1.
