There are two trees down the street from me. Their leaves turn the most amazing color every autumn. I try to take photos, but there are always utility lines in the way. The sun peeped out for a bit this afternoon, so I grabbed my camera and went to get some close ups. Unfortunately, the sidewalk in front of that house (a rental property) is dangerously uneven and buried beneath fallen leaves. I tripped on a edge of sidewalk 4 higher than the previous bit and went sprawling. My camera was banged up a bit, but still seems to work okay. My knees, forearms and the heels of my palms are a bit scraped. I will survive.
