There have been multiple $BILLION claims in north Texas to hail and tornado damage in just the past 10 Years alone, yet the last time Corpus Christi experienced Hurricane conditions was in 1980 when we got hit by Hurricane Allen. More claims and risk north then here. Yes, we will get hit sooner or later, but insurance is a risk based biz, and risk of a claim based on history is HIGHER in North Texas then here, but yet they want to hammer us with excessive rates.
