There have been several comments made by MRK regarding the use of cannabis in her comments on my FB page. As they have been made on a public forum and because it is an illegal drug in Ireland I have had to reconsider my stance on it. I made an irresponsible remark on my page suggesting its use. I should not have made a comment like this publicly because it is illegal. It gives the impression that its use is acceptable which it cannot be until and if it is made legal in this country. Because of recent events, I will not use it again while the law stands as it is in Ireland. As many of you know, it has been legalised in some US and Canadian States, where it is available on prescription. I believe it has very many both medical and therapeutic benefits. Which have been established and recorded by the WHO. I will certainly be behind any efforts in the future to legalise its use in Ireland, and I will refrain from using if and until then.
