There have been six homicides since 12-year-old Genesis Rodriguez was killed in July and over a dozen shootings. To just hold another rally is not the answer because the next day/ weekend somebody else will get shot. Its time for us to take this Trenton. Our city is in great danger ! Its time for us to knock on the doors of our Hon. Governor Chris Christie and his attorney general Mr. John Jay Hoffman at state house in Trenton. We need to plan a protest in front of State House . We need the Paterson community to come together as well as support from everyone specially who really care for our community. Please try to understand, anyone of us can be in similar situation. Gun Violence does not discriminate. This issue cannot be ignored just by thinking; we belong to some exclusive group of people. Today it is Nazerah tomorrow it could be any one of our child. Only way anyone will take a note of grievances of our community is when large number of people protest and speak out about discrimination, prejudices and selective enforcement of a law. Our intention is to wake up Trenton and ask for help in this whole episode. We need demand intervention with fairness to those not involved in criminal activity. It will not serve any purpose for us to just protest or rally. For our young talented kids. Please encourage your friends and family members to this fight. Please share and forward this information to as many people as possible and request them join. Today is our opportunity for everyone to participate and show their concern, if we fail to demand assistance now then one should never ever complain of any injustice or discrimination or prejudices. We want our young people live and have a better quality if life. Im passing this torch of leadership to the Corey Teagues, Rashon Dixons, The Street keepers , Mark Fishers if our community. All men who have been very consistent in this fight. to provide the leadership in this battle. If possible one should try to take a day off or time off to join this protest.
