There have been wonderful story writers...lyricists.......music composers....directors.....actors in the film industry in the past .....it is difficult to single out any one as the best.........at times I wonder how could those poets read my heart and weave beautiful poetic expressions ......most of them have left the world......and people like me keep on remembering them for the wonderful work they have left behind...............Majrooh Sultanpuri is one among those.........besides being film lyricist he was a Urdu literature as well......he wrote for K. L Saigal on one hand and later songs like Papa Kehte Hain......Pehla Nasha Pehla Khumar...... Were also written by him....to his credit he has given many hit numbers.. ...it is an irony his old age wasnt comfortable he died in poverty in a way......he will be remembered for his beautiful songs.......this song Im presenting now is very beautiful....the music of Madan Mohan enhances the mood of the poetry......in a few words the poet beautifully plucks the strings of emotional hearts.......it is from a 1953 movie Baaghi باغی बाग़ी....... Listen....I forgot to mention the singer.......shes Lata Mangeshkar
