There is A CONDITION TO MEET before we get GODS APPROVAL on WHATEVER we ask for. Jesus said,If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.-John 15:7. Thats the condition. And if we can pray in the spirit, we sure can pray in the flesh. Every single time some one is praying, they are either praying in the Spirit unto BEARING FRUITS or praying to please their desire or passion; the lust of the flesh. Based on John 15:16; GOD would give a believer whatever they ask for as long as it would lead to them BEARING FRUITS that would remain. He would not favour the offering of Cain, nor would HE answer a prayer that we plan to lavish on our lust (evil desires, passions, or our own pleasures)-James 4:3. We pray Prayers of manipulation and control, prayers of hatred, of variance, copy-copy prayers not born out of truth and sincerity. We pray out of unforgiving hearts, we pray out of strife, of seditions, prayers of heresies, of jealousy etc Yet the Bible says we should live in the Spirit, hence pray in the Spirit; pray in love, prayer of Joy, of peace from a peaceful heart, prayer of longsuffering, of gentleness, of goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance etc The greatest enemy to our prayer life is the flesh; our lusts, passions, and pleasures. Thats why we are mostly unsuccessful with what we ask GOD for. Some have even become desperate so much so theyre adding juju to their prayers. Yet we see Jesus who said, My meat is to do my FATHERs will., small wonder He got whatever He asked for. He didnt own anything yet He didnt lack anything.
