There is a disabled man that stands outside of the target/toys-r-us parking lot (chico) with a sign saying he needs help. hes not there everyday but just when he needs money to survive. i think its crazy the amount of people that drive by and purposefully not look his direction. Im assuming they think he is faking it, and having actually spoken to him for a bit and working with disabled children for 10+ years i can tell you for sure that he is not faking or acting. whenever i see him standing there i always, yes ALWAYS stop and give him at least a 20 spot and ask him if he has enough food and water or if he needs anything. now m not saying you should give as much i do, but to really think about what your needs are vs. what you wants are. Im sure he would even be thankful for that sticky gross change at the bottom of your cup holder. so if you see him out there and drive by doing nothing, that says a lot about you character. i think im going to try to find a way to help him on a larger scale.
