There is a fine line between being needy and knowing what you want out of life. Some will say that one sounds like the other, I disagree. When you say you need someone in your life, you likely should expand that sentence to read, this is what I want in my life so I need you to be a part of that for it to come true. All to often relationship gurus see this as a weakness. There are other things that we want in our lives, you are just part of the equation. That makes it a statement of our truth, not a weakness.
