There is a fundraiser going on right now and will be ending on July 20th for the Critter Care Wildlife Society who receives, rehabilitates and releases back to the wild injured and orphaned mammals native to British Columbia. Along with limited staff, Critter Care relies on its many volunteers for on site help and the generosity of the general public, businesses and fundraisers. Once a year Critter Care invites the public to attend their two day open house, where you can have a guided tour of the centre and see the new babies that have been given a second chance, with the help of these amazing volunteers that donate their time they ensure that the babies will soon be released back into their natural habitat.
